About the Role

Join the leadership team at Wimmera Nursing Home (Horsham) and play a key role in delivering exceptional, person-centred aged care. Working alongside the Nurse Unit Manager, you'll provide clinical leadership, coordinate daily operations and support a positive team culture while ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate clinical care across each shift.
• Support and deputise for the Nurse Unit Manager.
• Mentor, coach and support nursing staff.
• Coordinate staffing and clinical resources.
• Drive quality improvement and Aged Care Standards compliance.
• Partner with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team.

Skills & Experience

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership in aged care or similar.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Associate Nurse Unit Manager (YW11 – YW12) which ranges from $60.94 - $62.99 per hour.
