About the position

• Lead, supervise and motivate a team of more than 100 employees to achieve operational excellence
• Recruit, train, mentor and develop team members while fostering a positive workplace culture
• Prepare staff rosters and effectively manage labour costs and workforce planning
• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant ensuring smooth and efficient service
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve profitability
• Manage inventory levels, preparation, storage and stock ordering to ensure continuous product availability and minimise waste
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards and OH&S legislation to ensure safety for both our guests and employees
• Resolve customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner to maintain high guest satisfaction
• Conduct regular performance reviews and monitor the ongoing training process
• Maintain restaurant presentation, cleanliness and equipment in accordance with the GYG brand standards
• Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to improve business performance
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures and relevant Australian workplace legislation

We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically we are looking for candidates that have:  

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-energy setting  
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify sales and P&L opportunities and collaborate on actionable strategies with the team
• Previous success in meeting KPI’s in a similar environment
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service  
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 

Salary range: $75,000-$85,000 plus superannuation
