About the role
Occupational Therapists Wanted — Join Our Growing Paediatric Team
Thrive Children's OT | Kent Town & Mitcham | Full-time / Part-time/ multiple positions
Make a Real Difference, Every Day
At Thrive Children's OT, we believe great therapy happens when clinicians feel supported, mentored, and genuinely connected to the families they work with. We're expanding across two clinic spaces — Kent Town and our new Mitcham location — and we're looking for two or three Occupational Therapists to grow with us.
If you're passionate about paediatric OT, love working relationally and skills based, and want a caseload that's manageable rather than overwhelming — we'd love to hear from you.---
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality, evidence-based OT sessions to a paediatric caseload, primarily NDIS-funded
- Building genuine, trusting relationships with children and their families — not just ticking off sessions
- Contributing to a warm, collaborative team culture across both sites
- Working within achievable, realistic KPIs designed to support sustainable, meaningful practice — not burnout
Why Thrive?
Real Team Culture
You won't be therapising in isolation. We're a close-knit team who support each other clinically and personally — across practices.
Onsite Training & Mentoring
Ongoing professional development is built into how we work, including onsite training, case discussions, and mentoring from experienced senior clinicians.
Relational, Best-Practice Approach
We prioritise quality over volume — real relationships with families, clinical excellence, and best-practice frameworks over rushed, transactional care.
Flexibility That Fits Real Life
Flexible days and hours to fit around your life — because we know great therapists do their best work when they're not stretched thin.
Achievable KPIs
Sustainable caseload targets that let you do good work without compromising on quality or your own wellbeing.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Occupational Therapist, AHPRA registered
- Degree in occupational therapy
- Experience with paediatric clients
- A relational, family-centred approach to therapy
- Enthusiasm for collaborative learning and best-practice care
- Willingness to work across our Kent Town and Mitcham sites and be involved in preschool and school visits
- Must have own car and drivers license
Ready to Join Us?
If this sounds like the kind of place you want to grow your career, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now with your resume and a short cover note telling us what "making a meaningful difference" means to you.
