Production Technician, Visual Inspection & Packing

We are hiring for Visual Inspection Technician in our manufacturing Visual Inspection department at Broadmeadows site. Reporting to Production Supervisor, Visual Inspection & Packing you will be responsible to conduct activities within the Visual Inspection area for visual inspection of empty bottles and semi-finished product.

This role will be a rotating shift-morning(6:30am-2:30pm) and afternoon(2pm-10pm). There could be occasional overtime work so flexibility is required across the team.

The Role

Conduct activities to meet the Master Production Schedule and the forecasted product demandActively assist trouble shooting of day to day issuesIdentify and support process development and innovation within the Visual Inspection areaIdentify improvements in documentation to ensure complianceEnsure duties are conducted in a GMP compliant mannerEnsure all work and product is appropriately status labelledEnsure batch documentation is completed in a timely manner and meets all predefined quality requirements and standards

To Be Successful

Preferred tertiary qualification in science/engineering or relevant experience (minimum of VCE qualification)Communication and relationship skillsKnowledge of cGMPLaboratory or manufacturing experience would be highly regardedKnowledge of Blood products or relevant fieldAbility to maintain attention to detail in relation to quality of product and processes
