About the role Bridge House is a place where people take brave steps toward healing, and where compassionate, skilled professionals walk beside them. As the Nurse Team Leader for the Withdrawal Unit, you will guide a dedicated nursing team through some of the most meaningful and transformative moments in a person’s recovery journey. This role is for someone who leads with heart, steadiness and clinical confidence, creating a safe, calm and supportive environment for participants navigating withdrawal.

You will work closely with the Bridge House Leadership team to shape a service grounded in dignity, evidence-based practice and genuine human connection. Every shift offers the chance to make a real difference, and your leadership will help ensure each participant feels seen, supported and respected. This permanent full-time position is based at the Bridge House Withdrawal Unit in Perth and reports to the WA

State Manager, AOD. How you will make an impact Provide clinical and operational oversight that ensures participants receive safe, holistic and person led care Lead and nurture the nursing team, creating a culture of confidence, compassion and continuous growth Monitor key service indicators and participant feedback to strengthen the quality of care Coordinate nursing rosters and collaborate with the Bridge House Leadership Team to maintain seamless coverage Work closely with medical practitioners and nurse practitioners to ensure coordinated screening and intervention Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance participant outcomes Offer expert nursing advice to the WA AOD Leadership Team, escalating matters where needed Champion inclusive, culturally appropriate and trauma informed practice

What you will bring Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Senior Registered Nurse (or equivalent) Experience in AOD withdrawal management Confidence supervising staff and supporting performance Strong organisational skills and the resilience to lead a dynamic service Experience in clinical service development Understanding of neurodiversity in an AOD context Excellent written and verbal communication Commitment to participant led service delivery Formal AOD and/or mental health qualifications are highly regarded Current WA Driver’s Licence What we offer Competitive pay above award conditions, negotiable based on skills and experience Salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 and $2,650 Entertainment Benefit Flexible working arrangements Employee Assistance Program Financial, retail and lifestyle discounts Discounted health and fitness programs through Fitness Passport Up to 8 weeks of leave per year through our purchased leave scheme Generous parental leave (12 weeks) Up to 5 days paid leave per year to support a TSA program or activity A supportive, values driven culture where your contribution truly matters
