About the Role

We are looking for a talented Industrial Designer to join our Sydney studio.

Ideally, you will bring relevant industry experience, particularly within POP, POS, retail environments or product development. You will work on projects from initial concept through to prototyping, production and installation, gaining exposure to the complete design and manufacturing process.

This is a hands-on role offering variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work across a broad range of materials, manufacturing processes, brands and retail environments.

We are also open to candidates who bring leadership qualities and are confident supporting, guiding or mentoring other members of the design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret project briefs in collaboration with our Client Services team

• Develop creative and commercially practical 3D design solutions

• Produce detailed 3D CAD models and engineering using SolidWorks

• Create high-quality visualisations using KeyShot

• Prepare presentation layouts and artwork using Adobe Creative Suite

• Develop accurate technical drawings for local and offshore manufacturing partners

• Source production quotations and communicate directly with suppliers

• Review prototypes, identify improvements and provide clear technical feedback

• Manage project schedules and provide regular progress updates

• Support quality control reviews and attend occasional supplier or site visits

• Remain informed about trends, materials and innovation within retail and in-store marketing

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Industrial Design or an equivalent qualification

• Strong 3D CAD modelling, engineering and technical drafting skills

• Advanced SolidWorks skills

• KeyShot and Adobe Creative Suite experience

• A sound understanding of production materials and manufacturing processes

• Strong visual, written and verbal communication skills

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach

• Confidence managing projects from concept through to production

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail

• A collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge with others

• Leadership capability or experience mentoring other designers would be highly regarded

• Experience within POP, POS, FMCG, retail marketing or a related industry is advantageous, but not essential
