About the role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering a warm, professional and efficient patient experience.
Key responsibilities
Greeting patients and managing front desk operations
Scheduling and managing specialist appointments in Genie
Processing billing, including Medicare, DVA and private health claims (ECLIPSE)
Handling incoming calls, referrals and correspondence
Managing patient records and maintaining strict confidentiality
Supporting our specialists and clinical team with day-to-day administration
About you
Demonstrated experience using Genie practice management software (essential)
Previous experience in a medical reception role, ideally in a specialist practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-focused manner
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
Sound knowledge of Medicare billing; ECLIPSE experience highly regarded
Professional presentation, reliability and a positive team attitude
Available for an immediate start

Canberra Region Neurology and Pain Centre is a well-established, ACHS-accredited specialist practice and day hospital operating across two convenient ACT locations (Phillip and Bruce). Our multidisciplinary team provides neurology, pain medicine, neurosurgery, rehabilitation, neurophysiology and infusion services to patients across the Canberra region.
