Science Communicator (Presenter) - Street Science

We're Street Science - an award-winning science education company based in Brisbane - delivering high-energy, curriculum-aligned shows and workshops that make learning science Seriously FUN. With a team of passionate science communicators, we bring hands-on STEM experiences to schools and community events across Australia, igniting curiosity and inspiring the next generation of scientific problem-solvers.

We're on the hunt for a confident, natural performer to join us as a Presenter - running exciting, hands-on science shows and workshops for students across the country and bringing our award-winning brand to life in schools and at community events.

• Full time, permanent position

• Immediate start available

• Opportunities to travel with us to regional and interstate communities, delivering Seriously fun Science further afield

• Additional weekend work available

• A confident presenter who can engage and entertain a room full of kids

• Previous experience with school aged children is a must

• A genuine love of science and how the world works

• Tertiary background in science or education (bonus points for both)

• A team player who's outgoing, reliable and organised - happy to pitch in behind the scenes as well as front of room

• A quick learner, ready to get up to speed and hit the ground running

• A manual driver's licence and a Blue Card (or willingness to obtain both) are required, plus your own transport to our Hendra HQ

• Must be reliably available for regular early starts at our Hendra HQ

• Availability across the week, plus flexibility for weekend work and travel

• Running exciting, hands-on science shows and workshops

• Representing our award-winning brand in schools and at community events

• Helping set up, pack down and deliver top-notch STEM experiences

• Travelling with us to bring science to regional and interstate communities
