Warehouse Assistant | Full-Time | Chatswood, NSW | Monday–Friday

About the role

Duraflex Group Australia is seeking a dependable and hands-on Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Chatswood head office.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, including receiving stock, picking and packing customer orders, dispatching goods and maintaining accurate inventory records.

This is a permanent, full-time, hands-on position with no people-management responsibilities. It would suit someone seeking a stable, long-term role within an established business.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload, check and put away incoming stock accurately

• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders efficiently

• Assist with stocktakes and regular inventory checks

• Complete warehouse documentation and system updates

• Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment

• Help investigate and resolve stock discrepancies

• Support the Warehouse Manager and wider team as required

About you

• Reliable, punctual and committed to consistent attendance

• Looking for a stable, long-term employment opportunity

• Organised and able to follow established processes

• Careful and accurate, with strong attention to detail

• Willing to learn new systems, products and warehouse procedures

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team

• Confident using a computer for basic warehouse and inventory tasks

• Clear and respectful in your verbal and written communication

• Previous experience in warehousing, distribution, stock handling, picking and packing, or dispatch is viewed favourably but is not essential

• A current forklift licence is an advantage; however, applicants without a licence who are willing to obtain one are also encouraged to apply
