POSITION DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this position is to work strategically on a whole agency approach to risk management and compliance. In particular, this role will be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing implementation of St Nicholas Agency’s governance, risk, compliance and Work Health and Safety programs.
This role is a proactive one that will also ensure compliance with external regulation, internal governance and drives expansion of services whilst ensuring sustainability of the dioceses. The incumbent commits to working within Work Health and Safety guidelines and Code of Conduct at all times whilst in the employ of the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.
The incumbent in this role is not a Person with Management Control (PMC). Changes to budget or service activities or delivery needs to be approved at the Executive level to ensure a consistent service delivery and structure across St Nicholas.
