ADC operates Supported Independent Living (SIL), community access, and in-home support services, delivered 24/7 by experienced and dedicated support workers. Key responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal care and daily living tasks

• Support participants to attend appointments and access the community

• Encourage skill development, independence, and community participation

• Implement individualised support and care plans

• Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours (where applicable)

• Maintain accurate shift notes, progress notes, and incident documentation

• Follow NDIS Practice Standards, ADC policies, and procedures

• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and Behaviour Support Practitioners

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping

• Support participants in SIL and supported accommodation environments, including overnight and active night shifts

About you

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent (preferred)

• Experience working with people with disability, particularly psychosocial disability or complex needs (desirable)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach

• Flexible, resilient, and adaptable

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience assisting clients with medication
