Theatre Safe Australia (TSA) is a national company providing venue services, production support and technical solutions to the live entertainment, events and production industry. Working across multiple states, we partner closely with venues, producers and touring clients to deliver practical, compliant and reliable services.

We are now seeking an Accounts Receivable & Payable Officer to manage core AR/AP processes and support accurate, efficient financial operations. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys ownership, accuracy and getting things done, with the support of a collaborative team.

What you’ll be doing

• Create and issue invoices for projects, rentals, services and sales

• Review job and project information prior to invoicing to ensure accuracy

• Follow up outstanding invoices and resolve billing queries, discrepancies and credit notes

• Record customer payments and maintain accurate customer account details in Xero

• Receive and enter supplier invoices into Xero, matching to purchase orders where required

• Prepare supplier invoices for approval

• Respond to supplier queries and maintain supplier records

• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations and maintain organised digital records

What we’re looking for

• Experience across accounts receivable and accounts payable

• Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)

• High attention to detail, strong follow‑up habits and confident communication

• Comfortable working with job or project information to ensure invoicing accuracy

Nice to have: experience in a job or project‑based environment.
