Pathibhara Investment Pty Ltd t/a Fresh Chulo Restaurant, we are passionate about sharing the rich culinary heritage of Nepal and India with our guests. Our journey began with a vision to create a warm and welcoming space where people can savour the authentic flavours of the region. With a team of skilled chefs, we carefully craft each dish to showcase the traditional recipes passed down through generations.

We are currently actively looking for an experienced Cook to join our Glandore team in a full time role working 38 hours a week.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Prepare and cook a range of authentic meals in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and standards.
• Portion, prepare and organise ingredients to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service.
• Ensure meals are served promptly and consistently to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Store food items correctly and rotate stock to minimise spoilage and wastage.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with receiving and checking food deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.
• Work cooperatively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient service.
• Inform the Head Chef of any equipment faults, food quality concerns or operational issues.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables, meats and other ingredients in preparation for daily food service.
• Ensure all staff under your control are treated fairly and with courtesy.

Requirements:

• Applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience if no relevant qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

A salary between $80,000 - $81,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
