Transport & Yard Coordinator

Polystar is a manufacturer of Expanded Polystyrene Waffle pods, established in 2001, based in Acacia Ridge. With a commitment to manufacturing quality products, and exceptional customer service, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Transport & Yard Coordinator with a manual licence to join our experienced team.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a valid Queensland Manual MR licence and Forklift ticket you will be committed to customer service and have the necessary customer service skills to deal with client enquiries. A knowledge of Brisbane and surrounding areas would also be a benefit.

We are offering a consistent 38 hour per week wage package with a view to go permanent after trial period.

The Role

Reporting to the Distribution & Logistics Supervisor, the Transport & Yard Coordinator is responsible for providing hands-on support across Polystar’s daily transport, loading, yard and scrap operations. The role assists with driver allocation and scheduling, driver training, truck loading and unloading, delivery and collection documentation, photographic verification, scrap collection and return records, and the safe and orderly operation of the yard.
