Project Architect

Mantric Architecture is a boutique, inner city design practice with a niche clientele including Institutional, State & Local Government clients.  We pride ourself on creating responsive and informed design outcomes, through a genuinely collaborative design process.  Listen, Learn, Lead is our MANTRA.

We currently have multiple positions available.  In this invitation, we are seeking a highly driven and motivated professional, with a passion for working collaboratively to bringing design visions to fruition.  To be a part of this team you will need; strong communication skills, a collaborative mind set and proven prowess in appreciating bespoke design ideas, and overcoming the technical challenges they create.  You will have had knowledge of commercial construction, and enjoy the experience of a collaborative, consultative process – where effective engagement is a core success measure. 

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in creative thinking and design development, supporting directors and senior personnel, and believe they are ready to transition to a genuine leadership role, in the near future

This role has defined objectives and an opportunity, for the right candidate, to become part of our current succession planning. 

The ideal candidate will have;

·         5-8 years local industry experience.

·         An appetite to learn, develop and meaningfully contribute to the on-going evolution of a creative workplace.

·         An appreciation for design in the public realm.

·         Enjoy all facets of the process, with ‘all-rounder’ skills

·         Played a significant role in delivering commercial/public projects ranging from $5M to $20M

·         Have strong communication skills (verbal and written)

·         Excel in harnessing Revit and other ‘tools’ to realise complex ideas.  

Current projects in the office include; Aquatic & Leisure Centre’s, Sports Pavilions, Cultural Facilities, Community Hubs, and a wide array of feasibility projects.
