Workshop All-Rounder

We are an established small business on the central coast seeking a Workshop All-rounder. 

We operate a busy workshop with the manufacture of steel products. The position available is for a workshop all-rounder, this is a casual position with view to permanency, Monday to Thursday start time is 7.30am - 3.30pm.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:

• Ensuring all work is to company procedures and Standards.

• Maintain a clean and safe workshop.

• Pick/pack operations, with attention to detail to ensure correct orders are being processed.

• Handling paperwork and communicating with customers

To be considered for this role you must possess the following:

• The ability to prioritize tasks and work unsupervised.

• Punctuality and reliability 

• Be “Hands on”.

• Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines.

• Be physically fit with the ability to lift up to 20kg unassisted. This is a physically demanding role.

• Willingness to learn new skills and share experience in a team environment. 

• Commitment to Customer Service through a strong work ethic in a team environment. 

• Thrives in a respectful, tidy, positive, and supportive team environment.

Mandatory requirements:

• Full current drivers’ license

• Forklift license.

• Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check.
