Service Store Attendant

Ventia have an exciting opportunity for a Store Service Attendant / Retail Assistant to join our team based in Holtze, NT (Robertson Barracks). Reporting to the Site Leader, you will be responsible for the storage and distribution of Defence Force clothing for serving Defence personnel. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4pm.You must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance and therefore, must be an Australian Citizen

What you will be doing:

• Face to face customer service, providing the best customer experience!
• Organising and controlling the day-to-day workflow – some receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves. 
• Assisting Defence personal in store with a wide variety of uniforms & badges.
• Answering customer queries regarding stock location and progress. 
• Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of work site. 
• Operating computer system to obtain details of stock quantities and locations.   

Could you be our next Stores Attendant?  

• Prior demonstrated experience in a customer service or retail environment will be advantages.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
• A passion for understanding customer needs and catering service accordingly.
• A team player who works well with others.
• Intermediate computer skills (Spreadsheets and Applications). Will be learning different military software systems.
