In Home Support Worker - Aged Care at Home

Our Ozcare Cairns Aged Care at Home Branch is looking part-time In-Home Support Workers to support our clients across the Atherton area.

Your Role

As an In-Home Support Worker, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include: 

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Undertaking domestic duties including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
• Providing support duties such as shopping, transport etc
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care

Role Requirements

• Current Police Screening Certificate
  
• A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance
• Current Queensland driver's licence
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Hepatitis B, Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
• Good computer & mobile device skills
• Previous experience in a similar role
