Business Development Manager – IT & Cybersecurity

• Identify, research, and target potential customers across the Australian market.
  
• Develop and execute a structured business development strategy for IT and cybersecurity services.
  
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, digital channels, partnerships, and existing relationships.
  
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customers.
  
• Identify organizations with cybersecurity, managed services, IT infrastructure, cloud, endpoint, network security, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  
• 5+ years of relevant B2B business development / sales experience, preferably within IT, cybersecurity, technology, managed services, or related industries.
  
• Demonstrated experience in generating and closing new business.
  
• Strong understanding of the Australian B2B technology market.
  
• Proven experience selling technology solutions or services.
  
• Experience dealing with senior business and technology decision-makers.
  
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales cycles.
  
• Experience using CRM systems and maintaining sales pipelines.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage sales activities with minimal supervision.
