We are seeking a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Bar Attendant to join our team and help deliver exceptional service to our guests.

About the Role

As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming bar environment and ensuring compliance with responsible service requirements.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of bar areas.
• Restock beverages, glassware and bar supplies.
• Monitor customer behaviour and ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Set up and close bar areas as required.
• Support restaurant and function operations when required.
• Maintain workplace health and safety standards.

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong cash handling and customer service skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable, professional and well-presented.

Desirable

• Previous bar or hotel experience.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits and cocktail preparation.
• Gaming Machine Licence.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Experience working in remote or regional hospitality venues.
