POSITION AVAILABLE:

Links Golf & Wellbeing is seeking the services of a Chef de Partie. The successful applicant will play an important role in our kitchen, working closely with the team to deliver exceptional cafe, event and dining experiences. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of food quality and working within a small brigade of Chef’s and Kitchen Staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals across café, events and golf-days according to recipes and menus.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Train and supervise Kitchen Assistants and Comis Chefs
• Support smooth daily service during breakfast, lunch and events.
• Assist with menu preparation, specials, and seasonal offerings.
• Ensure all food is prepared in line with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen workspace.
• Monitor stock levels, rotation, and minimising wastage.
• Work effectively with the wider F&B team to ensure great service outcomes.
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume, quality-focused kitchen.
• Excellent cooking and food preparation skills.
• Proficient communication and leadership skills, with experience in supervising junior kitchen staff.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and foods.
• Good understanding of hygiene and food safety principles.
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory management procedures.
