Bar Manager

Located in the spectacular Shark Bay World Heritage Area, RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort offers visitors a once-in-a-lifetime experience of connecting with wild dolphins against a backdrop of stunning beaches and pristine national parks. With a range of accommodation, dining and entertainment options, the resort is one of WA's most iconic holiday destinations.

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to join us on a Full-Time basis and lead our bar operations, delivering outstanding service and creating an inviting atmosphere for guests to relax and enjoy.

In this role, you'll oversee daily bar operations, manage and train a team of attendants, and collaborate with the Resort Manager to deliver an industry-leading outlet. From crafting cocktail menus to ensuring compliance and managing supplier relationships, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the bar experience for our guests.

Your day-to-day impact

• Lead and manage the bar team, ensuring a high standard of service.
• Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and coffee.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and manage stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, WHS, and harm minimisation policies.
• Manage rostering, budgets, wage costs, and financial reporting.
• Drive a positive guest experience by reviewing feedback and implementing improvements.
• Recruit, train, and coach staff to build a high-performing team.

What you'll bring to the team

• Proven experience in hospitality, ideally in bar management or supervisory roles.
• Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and developing teams.
• Knowledge of liquor licensing, compliance, and safe work practices.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic resort environment and deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Qualifications: RSA, Approved Managers Licence, and National Police Clearance required.
