In the role of Associate Director, you will work closely with our Client Coverage team, contributing to key business priorities and continuously improving how we serve our customers.

You’ll make an impact each day by:

Manage and deepen relationships across a portfolio of key insurance sector clientsOriginate and deliver innovative banking and financing solutions aligned to client needs and growth strategiesProvide strategic industry insights and contribute to NAB's broader Insurance sector strategyWork closely with senior stakeholders across Coverage, Markets, Transaction Banking, DCM, Specialised Financing, Risk and Sustainability teamsLead client presentations, strategic pitches, account planning and pipeline management while maintaining strong risk outcomes

You’ll bring to this role:

Demonstrated experience within the insurance sector, either through institutional client coverage, insurance treasury, capital management, investments or corporate financeProven ability to develop and execute strategic client plans, manage complex portfolios and deliver sustainable risk-adjusted outcomesDeep understanding of institutional banking, credit fundamentals, transactional banking and capital markets productsStrong understanding of insurance business model and the strategic drivers influencing the sector would be preferredExceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across large matrix organisationsTertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics or Accounting, with postgraduate or professional credentials (CA, CFA, CPA, MBA or similar) come highly regarded
