What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in the area of child and family health delivering expert nursing care in complex situations while providing support and direction to other team members.Demonstrated ability to role model excellent standards of comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care and documentation to facilitate quality patient outcomes, in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service and professional standards.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with members of the healthcare team, patients, relatives and visitors and maintain a positive workplace culture through well developed consultation, liaison, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Demonstrated ability to participate in the multidisciplinary team to identify areas for improvement in work practices and outcomes and contribute to the continued improvement of policies and procedures.Ability to prioritise clinical and related administrative duties, including effective and efficient planning and organisation of complex caseloads with proven ability to use information and reporting systems appropriate to the position.Exemplifies the West Moreton Health Professional Practice Model by demonstrating person-centred care, professional excellence, safe and effective care delivery, commitment to quality and safety, and collaborative practice.

Mandatory Requirements

Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
