Office Support/Paralegal

About the role

AANDI Lawyers' are seeking a full-time career Paralegal/Office support to join our dynamic legal team based in Hawthorn, Victoria.

As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers by being our client's first contact with our firm, fact gathering and participating in pre-litigation negotiations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their legal skills and knowledge in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Applicants with admin support or customer service experience are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided to the suitable candidate.

Please note this role is not suitable for law students or recent graduate. Applications from students will not be be considered.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting legal research and legal analysis of facts

• Fact gathering and investigations

• Organising and maintaining client files and legal records

• Client management

• Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations

What we're looking for

• 1-2 years of office/Admin/Customer service experience is required

• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

• Proficient in using legal research tools and LEAP (desired)

• LEAP training will be provided for successful candidates

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Enthusiasm for the legal profession and a desire to learn and grow
