Motor Mechanic - Nunawading Toyota

Nunawading Toyota is a landmark Toyota dealership. We enjoy high volume sales of all types of vehicles, including sedans, SUV's utilities and 4WD's.

We are currently looking for a fully trade qualified Motor Mechanic / Technician with a positive attitude to work at our busy Service / Pre-Delivery workshop located on Whitehorse Road Nunawading.

• Toyota Experience is preferred but not essential . 

• The Role includes Retail Service & Used Car Preparation

• The work hours are Monday to Friday working 8am - 4:30pm.

•  You will be carrying out maintenance & repair works inluding retail servicing & internal Roadworthy repairs

•  You will be working with with minimal supervision

Duties & Responsibilities,

• Log book servicing of vehicles, and repair of vehicles in readiness for sale / delivery

• The diagnosis of various makes including Toyota 

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs as required

• Report writing and reporting issues to the Service Manager

• Consistently displaying high attention to detail

• Hold Safety in high regard

• Maintaining the outstanding reputation of the business

Skills & Experience,

• Australian Trade Qualifications as a Motor Mechanic

• A minimum 5 years proven experience working in the Australian Motor Industry

• Used car pre delivery experience.

• Solid diagnostic experience

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Varied & Extensive experience working on numerous makes & models

• Proven experience working independently

You will also need the following:

• Full Australian working rights

• Valid & Current Victoria manual drivers licence

• Roadworthy Experience would be an advantage

• Own tools

• A positive Attitude

• Strong Communication skills

• Able to work as a team member.
