The key duties of the position include:Employment Opportunity
Attorney-General's Department is seeking an ICT Procurement Officer to work as part of a small team of ICT Professionals to support the Information Division achieve strategic and effective ICT procurement outcomes which are compliant with relevant rules and policies. Information Division provides IT services to the Attorney-General's Department including Royal Commissions. The services provided include infrastructure services, help desk support, IT security, application support, ICT project management and ICT contract and procurement services.
The advertised role sits within the Office of the CIO who supports the Chief Information Officer, and Information Division with ICT Procurement activities, ICT Financial Management, ICT Asset Management and ICT Governance and Co-ordination activities.

We are seeking experienced ICT Procurement Professionals to work in a small but busy section of the department's ICT Division delivering procurement advice and services. People who work for us will display leadership at all levels, apply information effectively in order to solve problems, are willing to explore innovative ways of working and work collaboratively to achieve outcomes.

Other qualifications: Must hold a Certificate IV in Procurement and Contract Management.
EligibilityTo be eligible for employment at the Attorney-General’s Department applicants must be Australian citizens.
Applicants offered employment will be required to successfully undergo a police record check and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at a specified clearance level. The successful applicant must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information.
Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
NotesA merit pool of suitable applicants may be created from this process, and will be active for 18 months after the date of this gazettal.
