Cold Storage Labourer | Day, Afternoon & Night Shifts

JBS Brooklyn, located 15 minutes west of Melbourne’s CBD, is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our Cold Stores team.

We are seeking applicants who have an interest in, or experience with, manual handling, machine operation, container loading/unloading, cold storage, and warehousing.

This is an entry-level position with opportunities to upskill and increase your hourly rate.

As a Cold Store Labourer, you will be supported with full training and ongoing development to help you hit the ground running.

Your day may include—though is not limited to—manual sorting of boxes up to 27kg, pallet packing, pallet wrapping, and working safely with strong forklift awareness. You will need excellent attention to detail as well as reliability and punctuality.

From optimising production flow to maintaining high quality standards, you will play a key role in producing a product you can be proud of. Team members also have the opportunity to purchase selected choice cuts at discounted wholesale prices.

• Ability to work in a Chilled environment

• Available for an AM (5.00am - 1.30pm) shift or, PM (1.30pm - 10.00pm) or Night (09.00pm - 05.36am)

• Monday to Friday, with the opportunity of overtime

• Able to work in a Freezer environment if required
