RQ11217 - Project Manager/Leader - Senior

Duration: 10 months(195 business days) + extension

On-site (Location: 40 St Clair Ave, Toronto)

Responsibilities: Provides project management on large scale, complex, high profile and high risk projects for OPS I&IT initiatives. Ensures project deliverables meet clients' business requirements on time, scope and budget

Must Haves

· Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager directly responsible for leading all aspects of large, complex Application Development initiatives

· Demonstrated hands on experience leading and managing agile projects, preferably following Scrum methodology

Advanced knowledge of project management principles, methods and techniques

· Demonstrated experience successfully managing OPS governance Cluster and Corporate governance approval processes such as project gating, architecture governance points, digital first assessment

· Experience managing privacy and security deliverables

· Advanced knowledge and experience with Agile development concepts and methodologies

· Experience leading technical teams

· Experience running scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives

· Demonstrated experience managing external and internal stakeholders and project interdependencies

· Strong technical and business aptitude

· Persistent attention to detail

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills (clear & concise)

· Self-motivated leader with strong interpersonal skills

· Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and Visio, and Planview

· Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver within extremely tight deadlines

· Project rescue/project triage experience is an asset

• Previous government experience is an asset
