Senior Toddlers lead educator

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children

• Support the planning and implementation of educational programs in line with EYLF

• Observe, document, and contribute to children’s learning and development

• Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues

• Maintain active supervision at all times and ensure children’s safety and wellbeing

• Follow all service policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and engaging learning environment

• Participate in team meetings, reflections, and continuous improvement processes (QIP)

• Communicate effectively with families regarding their child’s progress and wellbeing

• Support daily routines including meals, rest, toileting, and transitions

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)

• Sound knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standard

• Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to be flexible, reliable, and proactive

• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check – QLD)

• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates (or willingness to obtain)

• Current Child Protection training
