THE ROLE
As a Purchasing Officer, you'll take ownership of the customer journey from the moment a vehicle is assigned by Sales through to final lease activation. Working closely with our Sales team, dealerships and customers, you'll keep vehicle orders moving, manage documentation and ensure every settlement is completed accurately, compliantly and on time.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Prepare and submit finance applications within required timeframesPlace vehicle orders with dealerships and proactively manage the end-to-end order pipelineEnsure settlements meet all compliance requirements, including credit policies, approval conditions, and internal guidelinesExecute legal documentation accurately and in accordance with relevant policies and regulationsManage settlement preparation and submission within specified timelinesEffectively prioritise and manage settlement workflows to meet deadlinesIdentify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and support process improvement initiativesSupport external audit activities as required
Please note - this role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract with potential opportunity for a permanent role to be offered at end of contract.
About You
You have a sharp eye for detail, strong focus on delivering a great customer experience, and exceptional organisational skills to manage the end-to-end vehicle lease and delivery process.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to consistently meet deadlines and targetsComfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook and TeamsBonus points if you're familiar with Automotive Fleet Leasing or Asset Finance within a financial institution
