About the Role

As a Funeral Arranger / Conductor / Director, you will play a vital role in supporting families and ensuring funeral services are conducted with dignity and respect. Your responsibilities will include:

• Arranging and conducting funeral services with professionalism and empathy.

• Assisting with deceased transfers during business hours.

• Performing mortuary preparations.

• Managing administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Participating in the after-hours phone and on-call roster.

• Working across both locations in Bathurst and Orange

What We’re Looking For

While experience in the funeral industry is preferred but not essential, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

• Emotional intelligence and compassion, with a strong alignment to our values.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Professional presentation and grooming standards.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Physical capability to perform various aspects of the role.

• A current, valid driver’s license.

• The ability to remain calm, respectful, and supportive in emotional situations.

• A commitment to workplace safety protocols and practices.
