Lund Survey is seeking experienced Surveyors to join our dynamic team in Burleigh Heads. As a full-time Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing complex surveying projects, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and precision. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of construction and infrastructure projects across the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales, contributing to the continued growth and success of our business.
What you'll be doing
Undertaking surveys to support a range of projects including setout and as-built, control surveys, feature surveys, conformance surveys, machine control management, quantity calculations, and monitoring
General calculations and data management, including data reductions, adjustment of survey control, calculations of design for set out, preparation of plans and sketches, quantity calculations, compilation and delivery of as-constructed data, and development and management of machine control models
Collaborating with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions
Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
Providing technical advice and support to the broader team as needed
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualifications in surveying/spatial science
Minimum 3 years' experience in road infrastructure/civil construction projects
TMR experience preferable
Strong knowledge of Leica and Trimble equipment, 12d model, 12d Field and Trimble Business Centre software
Registered Surveyor/CES certification highly advantageous.
RePL advantageous, but not required
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
A valid driver's licence and the ability to work on construction sites
