Light Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy workshop. This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately

• Carry out inspections and report on vehicle condition and required repairs

• Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment safely and correctly

• Complete job cards and documentation accurately

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

• Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and quality standard

Skills and experience

• Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III Automotive)

• Previous experience in a workshop environment

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good time management and attention to detail

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
