Warehouse Operator

We are currently recruiting for Dayshift - commencing at 2am

Daily Tasks 

• High reach forklift operation, 7 bays high, single bay deep
• Both pallet and unit picking and packing using RF scanning and high reach RC and RM forklifts for both warehouse and truck loading/unloading operations 
• Completing manual handling duties   
• Working within a Chiller environment - PPE Provided (Jacket)
• Storing and maintaining materials, equipment and tools   
• Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality, hazard and risk issues to the relevant leadership teams 

Skills required  

• Current forklift license essential, previous RC and/or RM stand-up forklift experience desirable  
• Previous Freezer and/or Export operations favourable 
• Warehouse and/or Distribution experience or similar required  
• Understand and follow instructions and procedures 
• Work well independently, within a team environment   
• Communicate well both written and verbally   
• Showing commitment, reliability and motivation   
• Respond calmly when faced with obstacles  
• Physically fit and repetitively lift 5kg-15kg    
• Flexibility to cover various shifts such as regular weekend work and public holidays
