Agile Mining Services is a privately owned company, based in Adelaide, providing specialist technical, mining, and mineral processing services to the South Australian iron ore industry. Our operations located near Coober Pedy currently mine and export 3Mtpa+ high grade Iron ore.

About the opportunity

We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our maintenance team to support the increasing operational requirements of our South Australian mining operations.

Our Fleet Includes:

• Hitachi 1200-1900 Diggers

• CAT 777G Trucks

• 988K Loaders

• 740B Watercarts

• 16M Graders and D9-D10T Dozers

• Sandvik 650 Drills, Epiroc Drill and other equipment

About You:

We are looking for motivated and skilled individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Trade Qualifications: Australian-recognized Heavy-Duty Diesel Fitter/Mechanic certification.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in mining environments as a Heavy Diesel Fitter.

• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated hands-on experience with CAT, Hitachi, Sandvik Drills, and Epiroc Drills.

• Skillset: Strong troubleshooting / fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.

• Desirable Licenses: Dogging, Rigging, and Forklift licenses (not mandatory but advantageous).

Essential Requirements:

• Current and valid Australian driver’s license.

• Relevant tickets and qualifications.

• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening.
