About the role
The Survey Officer is responsible for undertaking and assisting with technical surveys that support topographic and hydrographic coastal monitoring programs, contributing to the management of South Australia's coastal environments.
Key responsibilities will include:
Develop methodologies to support the collection and analysis of valid and reliable data.
Retrieve and store data in line with the Department procedures.
Provide timely and accurate advice and assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide technical reports that incorporate relevant recommendations for clients.
Review and maintain procedures.
