Structural, Mechanical, Piping Supervisors 2:1 Roster

Polaris Engineering delivers high-quality engineering and construction solutions, specialising in heavy fabrication and surface treatment services including structural steel, plate work, pipework, and rotatable maintenance services. Our clients include major companies across the industrial, mining resources, and construction sectors.

Due to a strong pipeline of long-term projects, we are seeking experienced SMP Supervisors to join our team for ongoing site-based roles across WA.

We are looking for reliable, safety-focused personnel who are seeking consistent, long-term work and are willing to contribute across multiple aspects of site operations.

• Supervise and coordinate SMP works on site.

• Lead and mentor trades, contractors, and trade assistants.

• Plan daily activities, allocate resources, and monitor productivity.

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and project specifications.

• Conduct pre-starts and oversee safe work practices (SWMS/JHA).

• Liaise with project teams and clients to ensure project objectives are achieved.

• Monitor quality and resolve technical or operational issues.

• Proven site-based experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry.

• Relevant trade qualification

• Current Construction White Card.

• Working at Heights (within 2 years).

• National Police Clearance (within 6 months).

• Current Driver’s License.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening.

• Available for immediate or short-notice start.

• S26 Worksafe Certificate

• Additional tickets (Forklift, EWP, Rigging/Dogging, Confined Space, etc.).

• Experience on large-scale SMP or construction projects.

• Previous supervisory experience (for Supervisor roles).

• Team players with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
