Retail Sales Support & Supervisor (Full Time)

About the RoleUmart is seeking a proactive and hands-on Retail Sales Support & Supervisor to support our Perth operations across Western Australia. This full-time position is based at our Belmont Distribution Centre and provides operational support across Belmont Distribution Centre, Balcatta Store and Perth Express Store.
Working closely with local teams and Head Office, you will help ensure warehouse operations, customer service, warranty processing, inventory movement and daily store operations run efficiently. You'll be responsible for identifying operational issues early, supporting continuous improvement and helping maintain a high standard of service across the Perth network.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, improving processes and working across warehouse, retail and customer service environments rather than remaining in a single operational area. The position focuses on operational execution, coordination and continuous improvement rather than direct people management.
Key Responsibilities* Support the daily operations of Belmont Distribution Centre, Balcatta Store and Perth Express Store.* Monitor warehouse operations, customer orders and inventory movement to ensure daily targets are achieved.* Assist with warranty processing and follow up outstanding warranty cases.* Coordinate inventory transfers between Perth locations.* Support Click & Collect and Express Store fulfilment.* Assist with stock investigations and maintain inventory accuracy.* Monitor operational performance and recommend process improvements.* Support operational compliance, workplace safety and company procedures.* Identify operational issues proactively and escalate where required.* Maintain effective communication with Head Office and internal departments.* Assist with operational reporting and administrative tasks.* Work collaboratively with warehouse, retail and customer service teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
About You* Previous experience in retail, warehouse, logistics or operations.* Strong organisational and time management skills.* Excellent attention to detail.* The ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.* A proactive approach to problem solving.* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.* Confidence using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace or similar business systems.* A current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.* Experience within technology retail, warehousing or distribution will be highly regarded.
Desirable Skills* Experience with inventory or ERP systems.* Experience handling warranty processes.* Experience working across multiple operational locations.* Forklift Licence (advantageous but not essential).What Success Looks Like* Keep Perth operations running efficiently each day.* Identify and resolve operational issues before they impact customers.* Maintain accurate stock movement and warranty processing.* Build strong working relationships across stores and Head Office.* Contribute ideas that improve operational efficiency.* Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.

Working Hours* Full-time position.* Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work during peak trading periods where required.* Travel between Perth locations may be required.
