We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Rocklea. This is a hands-on role supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and equipment.Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently using schematics and technical drawings.Maintain, troubleshoot and repair variable frequency drives (VFDs), switchgear, PLCs and communication systems.Ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime across the site.Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to support production requirements.Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) requirements.

To Be Successful In This Opportunity, You Will Have

Current Queensland Electrical Licence.Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician.Strong knowledge of VFD motor drives, switchgear, PLCs and industrial communication systems.Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills with the ability to interpret electrical schematics.Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.Solid understanding and application of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
