Start Your Surveying Career on Adelaide's Largest Infrastructure Project

Survey Management Solutions (SMS) is seeking a motivated Junior Surveyor to join our Adelaide team and work on the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project - South Australia's largest and most significant infrastructure project.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to build a career in surveying while gaining hands-on experience on a major project alongside experienced survey professionals.

You'll be supported by a highly skilled team, exposed to industry-leading technology, and given the opportunity to develop your technical and practical surveying skills in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Working as part of our survey monitoring team, you will:

• Assist with the installation and monitoring of survey control and monitoring points
• Complete settlement and deformation monitoring observations using digital levels and total stations
• Assist with traversing and prism monitoring activities
• Support project teams by ensuring survey information is collected accurately and efficiently
• Operate and maintain advanced survey equipment
• Contribute to a safe working environment and follow project safety requirements
• Learn from experienced surveyors and develop your technical skills on a live major project

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn, and passionate about a career in surveying.

You will ideally have:

• Qualifications (or be currently studying) in Surveying, Spatial Science, Geomatics, or a related discipline
• Exposure to Total Stations, GPS, Digital Levels, or survey software
• An interest in construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Commitment to safety and quality outcomes
• Ability to work on weekends
