Practice Nurse - Full-Time Position available for RN

 About us

Crofton Medical Centre is a family owned and orientated medical practice located in the heart of Bundaberg. We are a RACGP Accredited practice and are committed to providing comprehensive medical care to the residents of Bundaberg and surrounding areas. Our team consists of four doctors, two nurses, our practice manager and administration team members.

We are seeking a registered nurse to help meet demand with chronic disease management and in our treatment room.

Qualifications & experience

• Qualified RN

• Proficient written and verbal skills

• Experience in GP nursing is desirable but not mandatory

• If not already proficient in the below tasks and responsibilities you must be interested and willing to learn. 

Tasks & responsibilities

• Duties include but not limited to: Chronic Condition Management Plans/Health Assessments - Triage - Childhood/Adult immunisations - injections - Wound dressings - ECGs - Assisting doctors with clinical procedures - Sterilisation and maintenance of clinical equipment - Cold chain management - Infection control - Assisting with other practice duties as required
