The role

Our depot located in Moorebank; NSW is seeking a Warehouse Leading Hand to join our team. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who has a can-do attitude to contribute to our Warehouse operations.

A minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience is required for this position.

Duties

• Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will work as instructed to receive and process incoming and outgoing freight and supervise the warehouse staff to achieve the day to day warehouse activity.

• This includes operating a forklift, picking orders, packing, and preparing items for dispatch, along with conducting quality checks.

• You will also be responsible for unloading containers.

• Additionally, assist with inventory checks to ensure proper stock rotation.

• It is essential to comply with all quality assurance procedures and company guidelines.

About you

• A valid LF License is mandatory, and while experience with high-reach forklifts is strongly preferred, it is not a requirement.

• Experience in managing sensitive and high-value items is essential.

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in managing sensitive and high-value items is required.

• Familiarity with general freight, including machinery, is also beneficial.

• Candidates must be dependable and punctual, demonstrating a strong work ethic.

• A positive attitude and the ability to adapt flexibly to changes in a fast-paced work environment are crucial.

• Your integrity and meticulous attention to detail in verifying dispatch and receipt paperwork, as well as adhering to our systems and processes, are of utmost importance to us.

• Australian citizenship is required for this position.
