Expression of Interest -Operations Administrator/Scheduler

About the role

This is a hands-on role responsible for coordinating daily schedules, allocating drivers and vehicles, communicating with customers and drivers, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate daily transport jobs

• Allocate drivers and vehicles to scheduled work

• Prepare and communicate daily driver runs

• Liaise with customers regarding bookings, delivery times and changes

• Communicate job requirements clearly to drivers

• Respond to last-minute changes, delays and scheduling issues

• Monitor daily workloads and vehicle availability

• Maintain accurate job and scheduling records

• Prepare paperwork and documentation for drivers

• Assist with timesheets and operational administration

About you

• Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities

• Confident communicating with drivers and customers

• Comfortable working in a busy transport environment

• Able to think quickly and solve problems as they arise

• Reliable and able to work independently

• Confident using computers, email and scheduling systems

• Experienced in transport, logistics or scheduling — highly regarded
