The Opportunity: 

Embark on a meaningful journey with Junction as our Alliance Senior Manager, in this pivotal role, you will contribute to the success of the Country South Homelessness Alliance by spearheading visionary strategies across the Fleurieu, Kangaroo Island, Murraylands, Riverland, and Limestone Coast. 

As the Alliance Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration and accountability among partners to drive service improvements within the Country South Homelessness Alliance Leadership Team (ALT).

As the chair of the Alliance Management Team (AMT), your leadership will inspire a culture of change, cooperation, and efficiency, maximising the impact of collective efforts. Crucially, you will leverage your profound understanding of Aboriginal culture, contemporary issues, and Australia's shared history to engage with diverse communities respectfully.

Your skills in facilitating cultural governance and building purposeful relationships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCO) representatives will be essential. If you bring qualifications in Social Work, Human Services, or Business Administration or relevant experience, coupled with management experience in a multi-agency environment, and a passion for community development, this is your chance to make a tangible difference in homelessness, housing services.

Our Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a highly motivated person who: 

• Has demonstrated management and leadership skills working within a multi-agency environment
• Possesses sound knowledge of crisis intervention and crisis response strategies together with the statutory requirements and relevant legislation
• Holds relevant understanding and knowledge through previous experience of Aboriginal culture, today’s issues and Australia’s shared history and the impact/s on Aboriginal people today
• Possesses knowledge of collective impact and/or community mobilisation
• Has experience working with Aboriginal and diverse communities
• Possesses strong communication, interpersonal, written and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively liaise and influence with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Holds a degree or tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Human Services, Business Administration or relevant equivalent (or lesser qualification complemented by substantial relevant experience)
