Radiographers, Sonographers and Medical Receptionists

About the role

Northside Imaging is a modern, independently owned medical imaging practice located in Mickleham seeking enthusiastic and patient-focused professionals to join our team. We have opportunities available for Medical Receptionists, Radiographers, and Sonographers.

Key responsibilities

Medical Receptionists:

• Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service

• Managing telephone, online and in-person bookings

• Reviewing referrals and scheduling the appropriate examinations

• Patient registration, billing and Medicare processing

• Liaising with patients, referrers and clinical staff

• Assisting with general administrative duties

Radiographers:

• Performing general X-ray, CT and/or MRI examinations, depending on your experience

• Producing consistently high-quality diagnostic images

• Providing safe, professional and compassionate patient care

• Following established imaging protocols and radiation safety requirements

• Working collaboratively with radiologists, sonographers and reception staff

• Assisting with workflow, quality assurance and general clinical operations

Sonographers:

• Performing a broad range of ultrasound examinations appropriate to your experience

• Producing high-quality diagnostic studies and worksheets

• Providing professional and compassionate patient care

• Communicating effectively with radiologists, referrers and other team members

• Contributing to an efficient and supportive clinical environment

About you

Medical Receptionists: Experience in medical reception, radiology or healthcare administration is highly regarded; however, training may be provided to applicants with strong customer service and administrative skills.

Radiographers: Must hold current AHPRA registration and an appropriate Victorian radiation use licence. CT and/or MRI experience is highly regarded, although training opportunities may be available for the right candidate.

Sonographers: Must hold appropriate ASAR accreditation. Experience across general, obstetric, vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound is highly regarded.
