The Role:

We are seeking an Assistant Venue Manager / 2IC to ensure the smooth running and operation of the hotel with a focus on driving business performance and culture, where the customer experience and service standards are consistently exceeded. The role will involve leading various teams for different product offerings with multiple revenue streams. Reporting directly to the venue General Manager the focus of the role will include: -

• Operation and management of all bar, food, gaming & TAB operations

• Training and development of staff and teams

• Licensing and compliance management

• Delivering and ensuring that customer service standards and experience are continually exceeded

To succeed in this role, you will have: - 

• Experience in a duty manager / assistant manager / venue manager role in a service-driven, multi-faceted food, beverage and gaming business

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Have a passion for the hospitality industry & customer service

• Comprehensive knowledge of bar, food and gaming operations and the ability to drive revenue.
