[Full Time] Cook/Chef

Your Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• To maintain the quality of the food products served

• Ensuring food quality and taste is of the highest standard

• Responsible to ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked

• Responsible to maintain health and high hygienic standard in Kitchen area

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

• Responsible to manage stock inventory and supplies

• Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items

• Controlling and minimizing food wastage

• Responsible to cook menu in a timely manner with the support of the kitchen staff

• Ensure appealing plate presentation

• Slightly modify recipes to meet customers' needs and requests

• Discusses food preparation issues with managers, and other staff members

• Requisitions food, kitchen supplies and equipment

Qualifications and Experiences:

Cook/Chef:

• A relevant qualification is highly recommended (or on-going).

• 1-2 years of experience in any Asian kitchen environment preferred.

• Able to work under pressure.

• Australian work rights are required for this position.

Part-time is also available upon request.

Full-time permanent position upon approval and successful probation period.
