The Role – Care Service Employee (Casual) | Goulburn NSW

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Service Employees to join our team on a casual basis in Goulburn. Flexibility to work across morning, afternoon, and night shifts is essential.

As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents. You will provide person-centred care and support, assist with daily living activities, and promote residents' emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. Every day, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful connections and make a genuine difference in the lives of older people.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting residents with personal care including showering

• Supporting residents with meals

• Contributing to care planning with registered staff

• Documenting care and services provided to residents

• Engaging residents in meaningful activities

Requirements

•  Minimum requirements - Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support/ 2nd year Nursing students who have completed 1 placement.

• Experience in similar role in aged care 

• A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity

• Flexible to do AM/PM and night shifts
