We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to support a male participant in his 60s with community access, no personal care required.

The participant has progressive cervical myelopathy with cervical radiculopathy, peripheral neuropathy affecting his feet and legs, he requires assistance with community access and transport.

Support duties include:

• Driving the participant to local community outings.

• Taking the participant and his dog to the beach for walks (main requirement)

• Providing transport to medical appointments on an ad hoc basis (some medical appointments are further away, e.g. Heidelberg and Malvern).

* Shift Details - there is some flexibility with timings, within a 2-hour timeframe

- Monday - 10am - 12pm
- Wednesday - 10am - 12pm
- Friday - 10am - 12pm

$41.86 - $52.93 Per Hour (inclusive of Super & First Aid Allowance) depending on qualifications + Extra Pay on Weekends (if required)

What You’ll Need to Apply

• CPR / Refresher Certificate (Completed in the Past 12 Months)

• Current First Aid Certificate (Completed in the Past 3 Years)

• NDIS Workers Screening Check (see Services Victoria Website)

• Working with Children Check (WWCC)

• Licence & Car with Comprehensive Insurance + Willingness to Travel
